NOW GET THE ADVANCER® ADVANTAGE FOR YOUR ELECTRIC KILN

We are pleased to announce that we are now stocking Advancer® kiln shelves in 10 and 12 sided sizes for top loading electric kilns!

Advancer® advanced silicon nitride-bonded silicon carbide is now available in multi-sided plates (full and half) to fit most top-loading, electric kilns. Due to the extremely low porosity of Advancer shelves (less than 1%), they are highly resistant to glaze sticking when compared to cordierite or other kiln shelves with typical porosities of 15% or more.

Made flat to stay flat, Advancer shelves never need to be flipped over, and they will withstand repeated firings to cone 10 without warping - even under heavy loads! Incredibly thin (5/16”), Advancer kiln shelves allow for more stacking space when compared to conventional, thicker cordierite kiln shelves.

Advancer shelves are less than half the weight of conventional shelves. Their high thermal conductivity and low mass means quicker firing cycles, and reduced energy costs, resulting in an attractive payback of initial investment.

See what many others have discovered and start getting the Advancer advantage for your electric kiln! No more heavy, back straining lifting into the bottom of tall kilns. No more bruised knuckles or broken element channels. Advancer multisided shelves are available in 20”, 21” and 26” sizes, including a full 26” size!
